Cooling Fans for Aquariums

What is evaporative cooling? An aquarium fan is an evaporative cooling fan. The fan points at the water surface, which increases evaporation and releases heat. A few aquarium fans are less expensive and more energy efficient than an aquarium chiller but also less powerful. If you use a fish tank fan, you may also want an auto top off to compensate for extra evaporation.

An aquarium canopy fan helps reduce heat and remove moisture from an aquarium, which can help protect aquarium lighting from moisture and corrosion. Two fans work even better: one fan pulls out hot air while another pushes in cool air. The same concept works well for an aquarium stand.
