When the carbon and sediment need to be changed, the pressure will drop in the system. The DI cartridge is exhausted when TDS (total dissolved solids) of the product water measures above 2-5ppm.

Then, unscrew the sediment and carbon canisters with an RO wrench. Remove the RO membrane, replace the carbon and sediment, then flush the system to remove particles. Next, (re)install the RO membrane and flush again. Finally, replace the DI cartridge.
