The Aquatic Life Twist-In 100 GPD 4-Stage Reverse Osmosis Osmosis Deionization (RODI) filtration system is a very compact water purification solutions that efficiently combine reverse osmosis RO technology with their quick and easy to change twist-in replacement filter cartridges. The new twist-in media cartridge design makes filter changes simple, easy and clean – no tools required and no mess! The twist-in cartridges can be easily changed in only seconds with just a quarter turn and without contact with used filter material, and the supply water to the unit does not have to be turned off to replace any cartridge.

STAGE 1 – TWIST-IN SEDIMENT FILTER CARTRIDGE: Recommend replacing every 6 months. The first stage of your RO unit is a 5-Micron Sediment Filter that traps sediment and other particulate matter like dirt, silt and rust which will affect the taste and appearance of your water.

STAGE 2 – TWIST-IN CARBON BLOCK FILTER CARTRIDGE: Recommend replacing every 6 months. The second stage of your RO unit is a Carbon Block Filter. The Activated Carbon in the filter reduces chlorine by up to 99% and conditions the water prior to the RO Membrane.

STAGE 3 – TWIST-IN RO MEMBRANE FILTER CARTRIDGE: Recommended replacing every 1-2 Years. The RO Membrane reduces impurities known as Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) from the water down to 1/10,000 of a micron, reducing arsenic, lead, parasitic cysts, copper and more.

STAGE 4 – TWIST-IN MIXED BED COLOR CHANGING RESIN DEIONIZATION CARTRIDGE: Replace filter when resin changes color completely to amber. After the water is filtered by the membrane, there is usually a small amount of Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) left in the water. In certain non-drinking water applications, it is important to remove the remaining TDS from the water. This is accomplished by filtering the water through a resin that is charged with Cation and Anion resins (H+ and OH-). As the resin absorbs the TDS, it will change color. When all resin has changed color, it is time to replace the DI filter. Because the process of filtering the high quality water takes time, it is common to use a storage tank to collect filtered water, making it available on demand.

NOTE: Filter Cartridges and Membrane life may vary based on local water conditions and amount of use.

Read before buying

Pros: Does filter pretty well

Cons: Replacement cartridges equal price of a new unit

This will slowly filter your water BUT, when it comes time to change the cartridges the price equals the same price as a completely new unit.

Good unit!

Pros: Easy install and replacements

Questionable about a smaller unit truly being 100gpd with real zero TDS read outs. Well, it works. Easy to install and love the cartridge replacement options other than the messy alternative. Reasonably priced and so are the replacements! So far a win!

Aquatic Life

Pros: Ease of install, no leak cartridge change

Cons: very slow operation, must be watched on storage or water bottle fill.

I recently purchased this unit c/w a full set of replacement cartridges on a Black Friday Sale. Upon receiving I found a different {Higher} pricing , as well upon installation the RO Membrane Cartridge would not allow flow, even when left overnite. I replaced it wit the type I had also ordered and everything works well now.

Does what it's supposed to

Pros: Easy to install, easy to use, does what it needs to

Cons: Slow

I bought this to make my own water at home and it has saved me from having to deal with lugging it from the store. It is nice to always have extra water readily available. The only issue is that it is a bit slow but that may be due to the pressure in my home. Set up was easy enough but I did have to improvise a little bit when connecting it to a water line. Overall good product.

Easy System!

Pros: Simple, expandable, easy to change cartridges

Cons: None so far

Easy to install, compact. Best part is company’s customer service. Had to call Aquatic Life and Mike spent 10 minutes on the phone clarifying some things for me. Highly recommend just based on that. I’m confident the unit will produce the water I need...
