Overview

The ATI DP-6 is an aquarium dosing pump equipped with 6 programmable channels you can use to automatically dispense liquids like additives, foods, and even top-off water.

Most dosing pumps for reef tanks are only capable of dosing 4 liquids and require expensive sold separately extensions to dose more. The DP-6 from ATI has 6 professional-grade peristaltic pumps that you can program or operate manually and it costs less than other auto dosing pumps in its class.

The DP-6 doser has a controller built right into the top of it with a LCD display and touch pad to easily schedule your dosing regimen. You can automate 2-part calcium and alkalinity, Kalkwasser, trace elements, live or prepared foods, and even fertilizers and liquid CO2 if you have a planted tank.

If you have a reef tank, it is strongly recommended to have your essential element levels tested regularly by ATI Labs while using the ATI DP-6 Dosing Pump. You can then fine-tune your tank`s health by dosing ATI Elements instead of doing water changes to try and correct water chemistry.

Benefits

The elements and nutrients corals and invertebrates use to survive must be replenished. If a reef aquarium is fully stocked, they may need to be replenished daily. Setting up a reef dosing pump to administer the proper amount of elements and nutrients for your reef tank can be an enormous benefit. Not only to your sanity, but to the animals that call your tank home.

The peristaltic dosing pumps used in the DP-6 are perfect for dosing fluids into aquariums because they deliver them at a safe, precise and controlled rate. They are also self-priming and can draw fluids/supplements out of a dosing container, into the pump and then into your aquarium without any harm to the pump itself.

Dosing

The DP-6 is designed to be used in conjunction with ATI ICP-OES Water Analysis (a mail-in lab quality water testing service) and ATI Essentials and ATI Elements.

When you arm yourself with truly accurate water quality measurements, the elements your reef needs, and a means to safely deliver those elements into your aquarium, performing partial water changes to correct water chemistry or compensate for trace elements will became a thing of the past. You will ultimately save time, money, and grow more robust and colorful corals!

Ati Dosing pump

Pros: Has 6 heads instead of the normal 4

Cons: Nothing as of yet

Just got it and it seems to be well made. Easy to use and calibrate. Guess we will see after a bit of time how well this holds up

Poor instructions included

Pros: 6 pumps

Cons: poor instruction manual

let me just say while setting this thing up, third time was the charm. The instructions will only explain how to set up the pump and prime it. No instructions on the connection of the pump tubing! Believe me it definitely MATTERS especially the check valves! The check valve must be directly connected on the left hose for intake (obviously) but with arrows pointing upward. I had to scour the internet for my errors and sanity! I had just about threw this product in the garbage and finally a video online saved me. Plus you can't get any help due to the virus...so hopefully this will help someone who reads this review. After you SUCCESSFULLY connect the pump...it works great! Oh and also make sure your output line is above sloution jars...something else I read online that seemed important. Setting the pump is easy...priming wasn't the best instructions but after you get it...it's easy.

Great product easy to use

Pros: Easy to use, great that the heads are replacable!!

Cons: Can only be doesed up to 24times a day. Typical use would be ok, but our application would like it evey 30mins.

Product cam packaged great, setup was relatively easy. Direction are efficient and setup only took just over an hour. That included setup of when pumps will go off as well as calibration of each one. Ordered extra heads just in case.

Trash

Pros: 6 dosers

Cons: Terrible functionality

The price and 6 pumps make this attractive, but the functionality is the worst I've seen. For each doser you must program each individual dosage and amount. That means if I set it to 24 doses per day I have to program 144 doses. Are you kidding me!!!!

DP-6

Came with spare pump in the box good thing because it had a bad pump. Easy to program and set up, it seems the pumps may not hold up but to soon to tell.
