No, I would not recommend this.

Not melting at all

Pros: None

Cons: Does not melt even at 6.2

I never write reviews but feel i have to to save aomeone else aome grief. Checking and rechecking prob pumps reactor all okay. I marked chamber 3 months ago not melting at all. Down to 6.2 but effecting tank ph i than read other people have same problem i am going to tear down again and replace media. Had reactor 15 years ago dont remember media but had no problems.

Pros: Works well

Cons: Glass and plastic pieces in it

The only thing you have to consider with this media is it has glass and all sorts of garbage in it plastic pieces but other than that it works well but you do need to spend time cleaning it.
