LifeRock™ Don’t just put rocks in your tank, ROCK YOUR REEF with LifeRock™. Amazing porosity, incredible biological performance (drops ammonia like real live rock), and unsurpassed realism make LifeRock™ the best and most cost effective rock choice for any aquarist.

So real, so ready. Are you?

It is safe for all fish and inverts, and is an aragonitic base material (does not contain cement), requires no curing, and is infused with spored, live bacteria. Once placed in water, the dormant bacteria will come alive and begin to colonize: helping to speed up the cycling process. CaribSea Life Rock is colored to simulate real coralline algae so you don`t have to wait 6-8 months for coralline algae to grow to have a mature-looking tank.

We recommend 1 to 2 lbs. of rock per gallon of aquarium water. 1 pound per gallon for a open-water landscape with more space for your fish to swim. 2 pounds per gallon for a denser landscape so you can create more caves/crevices and more area to place your corals.

Quick Facts
- Great for marine fish-only or reef tanks
- The ultimate liverock alternative
- Eco-Friendly and economical

Please Note: Each box will contain a variety of rocks of different sizes and shapes. We are unable to take any special requests for rocks of a particular dimension or size. Because of the fragile nature of this rock, it is possible for the rock to break during shipment. We do our best to package the rock sufficiently to minimize damages. As UPS does not consider this item insurable, we are unable to replace or refund damaged pieces. It is possible to attach multiple pieces together using aquarium epoxy in order to make large shelves or repair damaged rock.

Q
How do you cycle a new tank with this rock
Asked : Oct 10, 2018
By : Greg, Dallas

A
Hi Greg, Cycling with any kind of dry rock even that infused with bacteria requires the same process. Add saltwater, a source of ammonia such as Dr. Tim's Ammonium Chloride or a table shrimp and beneficial bacteria such as Brightwell Microbacter 7 or Dr Tim's One and Only. Check ammonia levels daily and when 2ppm is able to fall within 24 hours to 0, your tank is cycled.

Great Rock for a Beginner

PROS
Nice color. Different shapes, did not have to cut/saw rock. Easy to clean and put in tank.
CONS
One rock had a broken piece fall off (very minor issue), i used the broken piece to create an island where i will add coral.
REVIEW
This rock came separated with 6 different pieces. I have a 13.5 gallon fluval tank, along with a 55 gallon with nothing in it (a few months that will be different). I ordered 20lbs to use the left over in the 55. 3 of the pieces in my package were quite large and I decided to save these for the 5...Read More

REVIEW
I stopped buying live rock because of the chance of hitchhikers so I bought this and I'm so happy with it. It stacks well and my tank is so clean with no unwanted pests. Very happy!

Looks like Genuine Live Rocks without the undesirables.
CONS

REVIEW
These are great rocks to start a new tank with. Not only can Live Rock be expensive, but can also carry undesirable hitchhikers like Aiptasia.
