Best invention for a small aquarium

Pros: small, quiet, works great on small aquariums

Cons: none

I own a 16 gal saltwater aquarium in Florida and could not get the temp below 82 degree's. Once we cycle our aquarium for two months we will be adding corals and 82 degree's is just to hot. All chillers I found were either to large or to small for a 16 gal. This was the only chiller I found that said it would work for this size aquarium. I have to admit I was concerned since there were no other options to consider, but this little chiller has been the best investment I made for my aquarium. It does not take up a lot of space, it is quiet and best of all it has maintained my aquarium at the temp I set it for. All I hear is the fan, which sounds like a home fan set on low, and is not at all annoying to me.

It works... when it works.

Pros: Works... when it works.

Cons: When it stops working, the company offers zero support.

I've had this on my IM 30L for just over a year. It has performed within the specification, but recently the fan stopped working. I inquired of the company if they perform any servicing of units in need of repair. I received a straightforward, unapologetic "NO."

I should think it would give anyone pause to learn, after the warranty period, you may in fact only own an unattractive, expensive paperweight.

Great Little Chiller

We used this on our 32 gallon Biocube. Took the water temp from 82 to 78. Then it occured to us to remove a powerhead as it was no longer needed. This droped the temp below 75. Our seahorse really came to life. Have been using it for 2 weeks now. Shure hope it holds up as we dont want to have a large chiller in the room. This one hangs on the back of the tank suspended only by the hoses.

Highly Recommended!

Pros: Small, Eco-Friendly, Low energy usage

Cons: None

This is the 2nd unit I am purchasing. A great alternative to a 700+ chiller if you have smaller aquariums!

Pros: not fantastic, but usable.

Cons: Price.

put it on my 20G IM fusion peninsula tank.
It keeps under 82F when room temperature is about 86F.
So it works, but is slightly expensive.

Moon Jellyfish Chilling Out

Pros: Easy Setup - Quiet - Accurate Temp Control

Moon Jellyfish require a healthy temp of 65-68 degrees, which is perfect in the winter months, but what happens when summer hits and your tank goes to 77 with the house AC on and the top off? You panic and start your search.

I purchased this chiller after doing extensive research and speaking to Christian, one of the experts here. I also purchased the add on kit, which made the entire process seamless and took start to finish about 30 minutes.

My tank went from 72 (that day) and within a few hours dropped to the perfect 67.3 they love so much. I couldn't be happier with this chiller and neither could my Jellies.

Other people in the Jellyfish world have purchased this chiller for it's cost effectiveness and for best use in smaller tanks. I have a friend with a 2 gallon Nano and he was able to outfit the flexi tubes to make this work for his little tank.

Great product and so happy to have it.

Best Affordable Nano Chiller Solution.

Pros: Affordable compared to big box units. Works great in nano application and will keep temperature constant.

This is an excellent product. I am using it on a coralife biocube 16 gallon. The summer heat was pushing my tank over 80 degrees. I installed this unit, bought the extra install kit so it is clean looking. For the past 2 months my tank stays at a constant 76.4 during the day and dips to 75.8 at night. Less than one degree swing with my application. It is not very noisy, about the same as a computer fan. I have it right next to my desk and it is a faint white noise when it is on. Great, great product.
