Calibration

Many digital aquarium testers have sensitive probes that require calibration solution and storage solution to work properly.

Want to know how to calibrate a probe? While every type of aquarium monitor is unique, a pH monitor is a good example. The pH probe is sensitive and changes measurement over time. pH calibration solution is used to reorient the monitor to measure accurately. To calibrate a pH probe, place the probe in calibration solution. Then, follow the monitor instructions. A pH probe must stay moist. When not using the monitor, use pH meter probe storage solution to preserve the probe. Even with proper care, a pH probe should be changed at least every 1-2 years.

Marine Depot also has ORP meter calibration solution and conductivity calibration solution.
