First time with a canister filiter

Pros: complexity of set up but once you do one you should never have a problem again

Cons: Quite, GPH rate and just the perfect job it does overall

Set up is a bit complicated but with YouTube I got it together. I put substrate in the aquarium for plants, filled it with water then filled the canister with water and plugged it in. I fired right up. Although I had to check because it was so quiet I could not tell it was running. and the filter itself is housed in the enclosed wood aquarium stand so you would have though that would have amplified any sounds the filter would have made. In less than two hours the tank was crystal clear. Very happy so far
