Great product!

Pros: Worked fast and thorough

Did the one does it required and was skeptical that once would be enough and in 10 days the Bryopsis is obsolete! Love this product!

It really works!

Pros: It works!

Cons: None

I can’t believe this actually worked it’s been about a week and all my bryopsis and 90% of my green hair algae has completely disappeared I’m amazed by this product crazy how I just found this I have SPSLPS nems, nothing was negatively affected. I waited 72 hours before running my protein skimmer and UV light I’ll be adding carbon soon and then after the 11th day I’ll be doing a water change slight elevations in phosphate and nitrate so keep an eye on that as a ties off.

Worked for me

Pros: Easy to use. no negative effect on tank inhabitants.

Cons: I bought the 200 gallon size because others have said it took to doses. Maybe directions should be changed? But I will say in all fairness if I had addressed this sooner before it got so bad maybe 1 dose would have worked

After fourteen days I noticed a small improvement so as others have said I did a second dose and after 3 more Weeks I would say I have an 80% reduction and still treading in the right direction.

Outstanding product

Pros: It works

Cons: Your system needs to be healthy to begin with. For the product to work you'll run no carbon or protein skimmer for a while. I kept my skimmer off and no water changes for two weeks and no activated carbon for a month. My GHA is gone.

Flux Rx took care of a GHA... period. Notable results in a week, gone in two. Customer support is excellent as well, Eric will respond to email to Blue Life promptly.

Made my tank great again!

Pros: No having to open 20 little capsules.

Cons: None yet, you do have to turn off your skimmer but that’s true for all Fluconazole treatments.

I have been fighting, what I thought was turf algae for years. I thought it was turf algae because I have used Fluconazole before but it didn’t solve my problem. Plucking and picking and picking and plucking for years, I was getting tired of this Schiff but this stuff deported all my bryopsis in 2 weeks.

Finally found a way to get rid of hair algae!

Pros: It works

Cons: Takes a while and potentially two doses

I’ve had a green hair algae problem for quite a while now. I tried numerous fixes: running reactors, water changes, cleaning rocks, etc. I had zero nitrates and zero phosphates but still had hair algae...until using fluconazole.
I didn’t see any results until the 12th day when I noticed there seemed to be a little less. I also noticed the sponge in my sump was clogging every 2-3 days and needed to be cleaned. At the end of 21 days it was 95% gone with a few small clumps remaining in hard to reach places. I did a water change and dosed again, as I had read that someone else had to dose twice, and at the end of another 21 days I can say that I am hair algae free! I highly recommend to anyone with this problem.

Works great!

Pros: Works as directed. (3-5 days)

Cons: Unable to perform water changes, however the medication must have time to kill the roots of the bryopsis, or you’ll be back to square one.

Within 5 days bryopsis is complete gone, and no ill effects to coral or fish. I’m still in my 21 days of waiting for a water change, all is well. I highly recommend this product!

Didn’t work

Pros: None

Cons: Didn’t work for GHA

I used this product exactly as the directions stated and it did not put a dent in my green hair algae problem. I’m not sure how well it works for bryopsis as I did not have that problem, but I definitely would not recommend for GHA.

Algae Be Gone

Pros: Easy to use, Safe, Very effective

Cons: Takes 10-14 days to see results. Patience has never been an aquarists best attribute!

Revolutionary discovery that this anti-fungal medication works amazingly well in our marine aquariums. Decades of not knowing how to treat for hair algae and bryopsis problems, now we can safely and effectively treat to make our live rock or substrate look clean as a whistle. I hiighly recommend this product.
