Our Economy Gate Valves feature Schedule 80 PVC construction and accurate flow control at an economical price. Gate valves are used for any application that requires precise control such as skimmers or silent overflows.

  • Slip x Slip
  • Accurate flow control
  • Long term operation
  • More professional look than white Schedule 40 PVC

The golden rule of plumbing is that every job takes three trips to the store. While this can be frustrating locally it can be much worse when shopping online. Being short a fitting or two can delay a plumbing project for days. Here are some quick tips to avoid this.

  • Plan your plumbing on paper
  • Don't skimp on unions. Unions allow for easy breakdown and maintenance as well as remove the need for precise elbow placement. Use them as often as possible.
  • When in doubt order extra. We happily accept returns for a full refund (less shipping) on all unused fittings within one month of purchase. A few extra bucks in return shipping is less frustrating than a project delay.

Product Questions

Can you take these apart to service them? I used one of these and it starting to leak from the nob shaft
Question by: Tony on Jun 19, 2022, 6:09 PM
No, the Economy gate valves are not serviceable. You'll want to go with the Spears gate valves, which can be serviced.
Let me know if you have any other questions, and have a great day.

How do I connect these to the threaded bulkhead?
Question by: Khurram Zaveri on Jul 1, 2016, 10:23 AM
Bulkheads are detirmined by threading on the inside not the outside. If your bulkhead is female threaded on the inside you will use a spigot. male thread adapter.
