No, I would not recommend this.
Does what it's supposed to do....
Pros: Better quality construction than what ships with the aquarium
Cons: It doesn't fill the entire compartment. It has a high back on it, so mounting a light like the ai prime cannot be done from the middle back of the aquarium. It's expensive for potentially not being any better than the stock media basket other than build quality.
I was hoping this basket would fill the entire media compartment but it doesn't. I have the JBJ nano cube 28 gallon. The media basket has a high back on it, which means I now have to decide whether to not use it or spend $25 on a kit to hang my AI Prime from the ceiling. I received the InTank product today, loaded it up with carbon, GFO, and clearfx pro. I'm hoping the water is more forced to move through the media basket than the stock one, which should see a reduction in some nutrients over the next couple days of testing, if I don't that means my visual observation so far is true and water is just moving around it just like with the stock basket that shipped with the aquarium. Construction wise though this basket is well built. There's a sliding door and shelves just like the basket that shipped with the aquarium. So far the only difference I see is that this one has a better build quality than the one that came with the aquarium. I update all my reviews after I've had an item a month - 3 months - 6 months. I'll update how well it's holding up and how much difference I notice between the stock basket vs. this basket. Currently I see no benefit other than it being made with acrylic, but it is a very well made media basket. 5 stars on build quality, and the jury is still out on value / cost benefit which is why I have it 4 stars for my initial review. Also it came with foam rubber feet under the side hangers. That foam, my opinion bad idea. That's salt water it's coming in contact with. I scraped that crap off with a razor blade. I hope the adhesive doesn't harm my corals or inverts.. so far it hasn't. I'm only offered a yes or no recommendation on this product. If I had to make a choice today I cannot recommend this one for the price until I see increase performance over the stock media basket / what does it actually do differently or better other than look pretty!

Yes, I would recommend this.
Pros: Size, construction, high back to make sure the water does not flow (skip) over the back but goes into the basket.
Cons: The high back moves my protein skiimmer off center.
I bought this for my 28gal JBJ nanocube. It's a great replacement for the stock one. it has more room for the things I need for at least I think I need. With this basket I am able to have my mechanical (filter floss), chemical (GMO, Puragen, and carbon) in one of the three chambers and finally Seachem matrix in the final chamber. This is mostly likely over kill. I was disappointed in the room from the stock basket and this has given me more room than I can think of and still have great flow. The only reason I did not give it five stars is that it interferes with my JBJ protein skimmer. I have to fiddle with placement every time I move one of them.
