No, I would not recommend this.
loud with metal bolts covered in oil.
Pros: none
Cons: pretty much everything about these are terrible.
they are impossible to assemble correctly and if you do get them together they are unbelievably loud but that isn't even the worst part.
the reason they only have one photo of the product is so you can't see how long the bolt coming out of the back of the powerhead are. they are about an inch longer than they should be and it's impossible to tighten them enough where you don't have them sitting in the water of the tank and both of mine were covered in what looks like machine oil.
all in all I would absolutely not recommend these to anyone and they did nothing but waste my time. now I have to wait for my refund to go through so I can get better quality powerheads from a better brand.

Pretty good
Pros: Super simple. Good flow
Cons: Possibly noisy for some
Love the simplicity of this. Bought the lower GPH unit for my 44 cube. Provides nice constant alternating gentle flow. Fixed some trouble spots for my and now all corals have solid polyp extension. Sometimes simpler is better and this is perfect example. Only issue I have is that it is just a tad noisy. In a quiet room (bedroom, den etc) it may be too much so.

Well made
Pros: Cheap, well made
Cons: None
These wave makers are super high quality and a far cheaper option than more expensive wave makers. I am satisfied.

Power heads
The JBJ pumps arrived on time and in good shape. They were easy to install and start up. They seem to be working very well at moving water around my 46 gal. Reef setup. I liked the easy setup and adjustability. Only negative is that they are not completely silent. Otherwise, great product, excellent service from Marine Depot.

Works as expected
I just started to use a wave maker system to alternate currents in my aquarium. So far I do enjoy the ease of use for this product and the effect it has on the livestock in the aquarium.

Awesome Product, Awesome Value
The 500gph kit is one of the best purchases I've ever made and here is why: 1) Great value- add up the prices of the powerheads and timer separately and you'll see they are much more expensive. 2) Great Functionality: I thought that given the price, these pumps would be cheap and ineffective. They are well made, have great flow spread, and the timer works well, although is quite rudimentary. It would be nice if the interval went lower then the minimum 10 seconds. 3) Reliability: I have had these pumps running for 3 years without any problems at all. Every few months they will jam and need to be cleaned. Most importantly, 4) THEY ARE SILENT! I tried several Koralias which worked well but would make an awful CHUNK or several CLICKS every time they turned on. Would highly recommend!

This product is exactly as described. Simple and easy to operate. Pumps are a rather large, check dimensions. Price was right compared to competition.

JBJ Wavemaker Kit
Overall, I am very pleased with this product. It has proven to be a good value for the money. The cords are a bit short, but with a little creativity, I was able to mount the controller on the stand where I could get everything to reach. The flow is not quite as powerful as I was expecting, but it gets the job done and EVERYTHING in my tank has responded well to the increased circulation.

wave maker
First, the cords are too short, the power heads are too large, on mine , my one head doesn't stay in position, and it doesn't make waves.it does circulate the water but not too great. Other than that they are working to the best of their ability. The help department helped when I called, and suggested extension cords, I was worried that the unit would not support them. ED
