The Next Generation of Water Moving Technology Just got Better!

  • Unique Flow Virtually Eliminates Dead Spots
  • Evenly Distributed Linear Flow
  • Discrete Design
  • Twin Directional Flow Cages
  • Clip on Flow Directors
  • Waterproof Silent Suspension Magnet Mount
  • Advanced Controller with Mount

The pump that revolutionized water flow for aquariums has reached the pinnacle of design, performance and control. The 3rd Generation aptly named the Gyre 300 series incorporates all of the amazing features of the original Gyre pumps and improved them to make the best GYRE flow pump yet.

Intuitive Design

The engineers at Maxspect completely redesigned the pump with less parts and a more intuitive assembly for easier maintenance of the rotors. All Gyre pumps include an extra set of rotors and bushings to help reduce downtime while cleaning and keep your pump operating at full capacity. The new design has simplified this process of rotor replacement making it easier than ever to keep your pump pushing water at full throttle.

Smart Control

All of the Gyre 300 series pumps are compatible with the Maxspect Connect ICV6 control module so you can wirelessly control your pumps using the free Syna-G app from Maxspect. Any combination of pumps can be connected and controlled which means you can now operate a Gyre XF330 and an XF350 using the same control module all with a single power supply. This helps you to tailor the flow inside your aquarium perfectly to suite the needs of your corals without a ton of wires and bulky power supplies under your tank.

Superior Performance

The most noticeable upgrade on the new Gyre 300 pumps is the detachable flow directors which are a welcome addition and allows you to place your pumps even closer to the surface of your aquarium without the worry of pulling a noisy vortex of air and improving surface agitation for maximum gas exchange. You can maneuver each director to point the Gyre flow of water where you need it. Best of all, the maneuverable caps block light from reaching the pump components and will reduce the rate at witch algae will accumulate for longer operation in between maintenance.

Yes, I would recommend this.

Lot of strong and variable flow! Love it!

Pros: Strong flow and variable flow patterns preset.

Cons: Bit complicated to set manual flow patterns. Noisy if not cleaned in months.

I have a pair running on my 4' tank. The flow is excellent with variable preset patterns. Strange other reviews mention they can't figure out how to program the controller.. mine came with a booklet with instructions and there are youtube videos as well. It can be a bit tedious so I just left them on presets and getting excellent flow.
With the flow directors, I haven't had to clean mine in months since they block light to the rotors. No algae is growing there. and snails eat the algae on top.
It is getting a bit whining noise lately... so maybe they are due for a cleaning.

Pros: High water flow

Cons: They clog ALL THE TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are looking for pumps that have manufacture defects (acknowledged by the company making them via email to me), clog all the time, and are COMPLETE GARBAGE, then look no further. They are horribly designed. The fins rub on the end of the shield causing groves and motor seizing. Calcium builds (due to poor seals) up on these from the inside over the course of about a week or two and will cause the pumps to stop turning. They clog up so bad that the bushing (the part that's supposed to act as a type of bearing) will literally start turning in the rubber sleeve that holds it. It will turn to the point that the bushing and rubber basically wear down to nothing. Additionally, the pump housing rubs against the magnet causing slices of the magnet (metal, which is HORRIBLE for an aquarium) to rub off and get into your precious water. It leaves groves in both the impeller magnet and the motor housing, which cannot be good for longevity or functionality. I have been emailing the company (Coral Vue...who is clearly full of illogical idiots) for months now, and all they offer is a store credit so that you can buy more garbage products from them that will fail and possibly cause your entire system to crash. So, unless you like spending hours and hours every single week or two cleaning your pumps, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT PURCHASE ANY PRODUCTS FROM CORAL VUE!!!!!

Great pump but awful controller

Pros: Great pump

Cons: Controller, lack of directions, inability to set up app

I love the pump, very unique patterns that you cant get with other pumps. But everything else is downhill from there, terrible controller, poor directions, and i still cannot figure out how to connect to the app ( I believe i need to buy a different controller which is ridiculous)

Maxspect 350

Cons: No manuals or information or instructions on how to use the controller or setup

Save your money and buy a EcoTech. The gyro controller is not user friendly at all No manuals or instructions and no support by coral vue but it looks pretty.
