Ocean Nutrition Feeding Frenzy Feeding Station (Med)

Ocean Nutrition Feeding Frenzy Feeding Station (Med)

$4.99

Item #: ON1151

In Stock

The "Feeding Frenzy" Feeding Station is a unique tool for making the feeding of flake foods and other floating foods an easier, more efficient, and more enjoyable process (for fish and fish keepers). The Feeding Station floats on the surface of the aquarium water and adheres to the inside surface of glass or acrylic aquariums. It provides a stationary zone where fish can return repeatedly to feed while containing floating foods within a limited space. The food does not immediately scatter across the aquarium water surface, which helps to reduce the clogging of filters or skimmers.

Keeps the food from going into the overflow

this works great and keeps all the food inside the tank and prevents it from going down the overflow. the only downside to it is the suction cup doesnt really stick well. I swapped it out to a better one and problem solved.

Great for the Price

Excellent product for the price! Just a circle of foam and plastic, however it gets the job done. It is however fairly large, 4.25" x 5.25" so know the size before you buy it. Does just what it is designed to do.

Love it!

I have an Eheim Feed Air Automatic Feeder and a top skimming tank! Without this item most of the food would go straight into the filter. This is a great stationary food platform and I would recommend this to anyone that wants to have an automatic feeder! It's well made but inexpensive, buy it!

get it

if you have a filter that skimmes this is perfect for you and it only took two feedings for all of the fish in the tank to use it. Awsome!

Feeding Station

I bought this feeding station to replace one and it is far superior to our old one. It "corrals" the small pellets and flakes that are dispensed from our auto feeder twice a day perfectly. This one is clear and in the water it's not visible. It's nice not to have the big black suction cup on our old one stuck in the line of vision. The food drops nicely to the bottom of our 77 gallons (half moon shaped)aquarium and the cleaning crew (crabs and shrimp)get a chance to eat something. Without this feeding station 75% of our food was blown across the surface by the aerator and down the drain before it had a chance to saturate and drop to the bottom. Now none of the food is wasted or collects in our skimmer or sump.

Great tray

This has helped me tremendously from wasting food from the overflow. The fish all know exactly the food is going and I know it will stay there. Great product although it took me a second or two to figure out that the suction cup and toothpick looking devie was there to hold it in place. I am a little slow. ;-)

Works Well

For the price, this device works really well. My automatic feeder drops food into the feeding station and the food stays put until the fish eat it or it sinks. I did have to shorten the plastic arm that holds the ring in place. I think it would be nice if a large and short arm were provided for more flexibility in mounting the ring. This is the only reason I gave the product 4 stars instead of 5.

Ocean Nutrition Feeding Statio

I have had a few of these; it helps to keep excess food going into your overflow and then sump. Unfortunately, the inner plastic doesn't always fit snuggly into the sponge rim. Quite annoying when the plastic flips up when you are using. Maybe I just got a bad one.

Works great

This works great for keeping the food from getting sucked into the overflow box. This is perfect for flake or any food that floats.
