Formula Two Flakes

Formula Two™ Flakes are a gourmet food with extra algae for herbivorous and omnivorous tropical fish.

A vital staple to have in any tank with Herbivores

Pros: Follow feeding guidelines and supplement with NORI sheets for a treat

Fresh smelling, floats and appears to digest easily with out bloat. Supplement this with Nori sheets and the tangs go wild

    Go crazy!!

Pros: Well balanced, palatable fish love it and does not cloud water

    Cons: Nothing thus far

I have a community tank mostly highlighting tropical angle fish along with mollies and some tetra’s. I was looking for a formulation that seems to be pretty complete including vegetable product. I am using the Formula Two Flakes for tropical fish and the fish “go crazy”. They love it. I’ve been using the product for about a month now and the fish look great, healthy with very nice color. I like the large flakes because I can crush them to the size I want when needed. I highly recommend this food.

Fish love it but crumbles easily/pulverized in shipping

    Pros: Fish love it!

Cons: Flakes break down into almost unusable particles before you get to the bottom.

I have been using this for years and any tangs I have had have always loved it, but the flakes break down into tiny particles inside the container before you get 2/3 of the way through it. Ordered 2 containers last week and they arrived already pulverized. Must have a lot of dye, it will turn your skimmate green.

    formula two flakes

    Pros: easy to use

Cons: break it up some flakes are large , and must push in water or it will float to your overflow

first time ive used this food when i got it i thought wow its awfully light for the size but again it is flake. fish seem to eat it adequately. i also have prime reef they seem to like them both about the same. high in nutrients along with the paletability is just what im looking for in a food

    Superior!

I have a Powder Blue tang that is SUPER picky and will not even look at anything but Ocean Nutrition Formula 2 flakes... Also, all my other fish don't have a problem with this flake as well... I have a Yellow tang in the tank too and he goes CRAZY over this stuff.. HIGHLY recommended if your tangs are being picky during dinner time..
