SeaChem CupriSorb is a powerful adsorbent of copper and heavy metals. CupriSorb will remove copper more rapidly and efficiently than carbon and is thus ideal for emergency copper removal. It extracts all types of copper from water and, if in continuous use, from the gravel/substrate bed as well. CupriSorb will allow maintenance of invertebrates in copper-treated tanks by removing copper leaching from substrates. A 100 mL bag is adequate for up to 60 gallons and removes over 3,000 mg of copper or 12 ppm in 60 gallons. It may be regenerated repeatedly. Marine or freshwater use.

CupriSorb can be used by placing in a canister filter, media filter, high flow area of a trickle filter or sump. The 100 ML size comes in a filter bag.

Copper Gone!

Good product that removed the copper from my 150 gallon FOWLR aquarium in no time. A very fine mesh media bag is required to contain the adsorbent material.

Works but slow

This is a great product but to me the polybio filter is way faster BUT you will use a few. Depends on the size of the tank. But this is capable just slower and probably more cost effective price wise again depending on the size of the tank.

Savior!!!

I am new to Saltwater Fish and received marine ich on one of my Clown Fish from a local pet store. I put a copper treatment into my tank and my coral mushroom shrunk and look like they were dead. Fish is now cured but tank is now dead.....NOT SO QUICK. Research and found CUPRISORB, installed into my filter and now the coral are coming back to life and tank is full of life. THANKS SO MUCH!!! Great Product and the website has great prices on this product.

CupriSorb

So far I am pleased with this product. The media bag has fine enough mesh that the small Cuprisorb beads don't escape. I put the bag in my Sump filter sock so it should have good water flow. I will check my Cu level in 2 weeks.

It Works

A friend dosed my reef tank with CU to kill ick. All polyps closed for over a month. CU tested off charts. Used Seachem Cuprisorb and in 4 days polyps started to open and CU was reduced to half by 2nd day. GETS THE COPPER OUT!!!! Thank You Seachem!!!!
