New Formula! 17x Thicker

Reef Glue is a superior cyanoacrylate gel for gluing and mounting coral frags and colonies to reef rock or plugs. It bonds within seconds and has excellent control, hold and durability characteristics. It can even be used underwater. Reef Glue can be used for any aquascaping in freshwater or saltwater aquariums or for any plastics repairs. Reef Glue comes is in an aluminum tube for extended stability life beyond products contained in plastic bottles – it won’t dry up in the tube.

Size: 20g

To adhere frags, colonies, or for general aquascaping, first test fit the item to be glued onto the site it is to be adhered. Note the contact points the item has with the site. Retrieve the item and, while not submerged, place a small amount of glue on each site contact point. Quickly fit the item onto the site again. A skin will form over the glue upon contact with water. It is helpful to break this skin slightly while in contact with the site. Hold the item down for about 15 seconds (more in areas of strong flow). Check that the item is secure. Repeat as necessary in order to build up a small amount of glue for a more secure hold.

Good overall glue

Pros: Strong

Cons: Slow cure

Does what it needs to do and does it well. Takes a bit longer to dry and cure than I would have liked but it works!

Pros: Works quick, easy to aim with the tip that's included.

Cons: It dried where it comes out of the tube so I had to cut the top multiple times and eventually cut the container in half to get the rest out.

Pretty good glue for gluing frags to live rock.

Works out of water, not so well underwater

Pros: Glues

Cons: Messy, tube cracks open, weak adhesive

There's better glues out there. Weak adhesive when used underwater, and still a fragile bond when used out of water. One snail or hermit crab comes by, and the frag will come off the rock.

Perfect Glue

Best Glue I ever used for gluing small frags to plugs or rocks. also it is good for gluing small colonies to rock but will need a large amount of glue to hold them. the texture is thick and nice and it hold the corals to position quickly, just make sure that no water goes inside the nozzle

Works well out of water

This glue works well for reefscaping if you let it dry out of the tank. If you're gluing frags to an existing reef already in your tank it will eventually come loose (or a turbo snail will knock it loose). This is the only brand I've tried so I don't know if another glue works better... Maybe an epoxy for under water.
