SpectraPure® SpectraSelect Plus™ 99% Rejection Membranes set the industry standards for contaminate removal, high flow rate, and membrane longevity, while effectively doubling post deionizing cartridge life. Using a proprietary process, SpectraSelect Plus™ membranes are pre-treated to enhance rejection, increase permeate production and speed rinse up times. Hand-picked and individually tested for consistent ultra-high rejection, no other membrane can match SpectraSelect Plus™ for membrane life, or the ability to remove silica, phosphates, nitrates, and heavy metals. SpectraSelect Plus™ Membranes are standard equipment in SpectraPure MaxCap™ -AF & -MF RO/DI Systems, SpectraPure UHE RO/DI Systems, and are now included in SpectraPure’s newly upgraded CSPDI -AF & -MF RO/DI Systems. They are can be used as an upgrade replacement option for most residential / aquarium Reverse Osmosis or RO/DI Systems, and are interchangeable with Captive Purity™, Kent Marine® and other standard-sized TFC membranes.

  • - Typical stabilized conductivity rejection 99%, minimum conductivity rejection 98%.
  • Membranes produce rated GPD ± 20% at 60 psi & 77°F (25°C) w/ 500ppm softened water feed & 15% recovery.
  • Maximum temperature 113F (45c)
  • pH range 2-11
  • Free chlorine limits less than 0.1ppm
  • Maximum feed water silt density index (SDI) 5
Note: RO Membranes must be matched with appropriate flow restrictors. Always change or adjust the flow restrictor when modifying membrane GPD rating on any RO or RO/DI system.

Finally Clean Water!!

Pros: Works very well

The TDS from my tap is around 180 or so and after going through the RO portion of my unit, it gets my TDS all the way down to 2!!! The DI portion then gets my TDS to 0. Excellent product with great efficiency. I can rest easy knowing that I now have clean water

pleased with the RO

This was a remplacement for an RO that had set inactive for almost a year. It was replaced because the filtering unit was being cleaned up for personal use. Prior it had been used to fill fish tanks. Never had any problems with the filter.

Superb Membrane

Bought as a replacement for a two year old unit which finally began creeping up from the indicated 2 ppm it held steadily until now. Our tap water is liquid rock and rusty; I feed the membrane through 3 levels of decreasing particulate filters (25 micron whole house, 2 micron pre filter and .5 micron in the RO system) a water softener and a second carbon block (replaced the DI cartridge with a carbon filter). I ran 40 large and small freshwater tanks for most of the two years with RO modified for GH and KH generated by the old membrane. We've recently begun moving away from our smaller tanks to a few large ones, no telling how many thousands of gallons of RO we've made, but it has allowed us to keep many kinds of softer water fish out tap wouldn't support. This is definitely a durable membrane with excellent performance.

Does what is supposed to.

My RO/DI was reading .03 PO4. After replacing all 4 filters, including the RO membrane, it is back to 0. The last RO membrane filtered approx. 1800 gal (600 gal RO produced) before needing replacement.

RO Membrane

SpectraPure is a quality brand. You can buy a cheaper membrane but not one of higher quality.
