Pros: I now have a cool syringe

Cons: Using it

Easier time using a turkey baster. So many parts for a little cheap feeding tool.

Great feeding tool

Pros: Long, well built

Cons: Assembly can be a bit difficult as the silicone sleeves you attach the run into can be quit difficult to put on.

I’ve tried other feeding tools and this has been my favorite so far, it can reach deeper tanks and it has a stopper that doesn’t let food or water get past the tip which is great. Great for spot feeding as you can really control how much food gets released.

Pros: Good for deep tanks and spot feeding

Cons: Has a chance of falling apart if you are not careful

This is a very useful tool for spot feeding especially on deeper tanks. It is a little bulky and it did fall apart on me once which caused a lot of food to go all over the place.

interesting gadget

Pros: Interesting gadget to target feed.

Cons: a little difficult to assemble

I bought this "thing" for target feeding corals and fish. I gave it 3 stars as it is a bit difficult to put together. The soft tubing that is used to connect the hard shaft to the syringe is a bit difficult to attach. You have to work the hard tube into the soft tube. Maybe a little hot water on the soft tube will soften it up enough to attach easier. The tool appears to be a hodge lodge of a BD type spring, various tubing and a pipette tip all cobbled together. Since I work around laboratories, I believe I have access to spare parts if something breaks.

Very good product

Very nice set. Keeps your hands/arms out of the tank. I mix my coral food in a cup containing DT water, mix it, and then use the Julian's Thing to distribute the food. Has worked very well for the last fe weeks - BUY IT! - you won't regret it.

Back into Reef Aquarium 's

Works great easy cleaning I have been using it with coral frenzy food and my frags and small fish go crazy for it. Makes individual coral feeding simple.

connectors (even after soaking in hot water) would not fit. spent hours trying to get this piece of crap to work. With the connectors only partially on, the device is flimsy and wobbly!

Doesn't get better than this

Turkey basters are good for debris, but for feeding and taking small debris out without making a mess, hands down this is worth the $20. Very adjustable, and you can even cut one of the two extensions if one by itself is still too long. Much easier to target feed now.
