Not Happy!!

I can't seem to get them to work properly. I sa they because I bought 4 of them. The temp is set on 77 degrees. My water drops to 75 degrees and none of them are on heating the water. I have to manually raise the temp setting two or three degrees before they will even come on. Nope ... Not Happy!!

Well made

Pros: Easy to program plenty of cord length

Cons: None

Nice heater. I have had too many disasters to take a chance with glass. I have this 500 and a 300 for back up.

Happy so far

Pros: relatively small, fits in sump nicely

Cons: says to not install heater horizontal, but i did and it is working fine so far.

Bought two of these, both 300W for my red sea reefer 750xxl. started them both up with no issues. I did slowly increase the temperature, 2 or 3 degrees each day, but they brought it right up and now the tank stays pretty steady at 76-77 degrees.
