After 6 months...

Pros: Moves a ton of water for being so small. Quiet; easy to clean.

Cons: They dont work alternating each other unless hooked up to APEX. They need cleaned ALOT

After 6 months of running these I have cleaned them monthly and it still doesn't seem to be enough. At the price point though and the abuse I put them through making huge waves in shallow frag tanks; you cant go wrong. Hopefully they don't need replaced; but.... we will see in another 6 months of use.

Finally; the PERFECT pumps for Lowboy frag tanks

Pros: Affordable; low profile; move alot of water; lots of control

Cons: I dont wanna Jinx it but no cons yet. After 6 weeks

Here at A Reef Insanity / ARI I have found this is a GREAT low profile pump that moves a lot of water; creating my 3 lowboys I added 2 of these each to into a wave tank. VERY good and nourishing for the corals! Other pumps in other lowboys are just too big for it. I run these at half power and in master/salve mode. The company (Innovative) is putting out some great products lately; this being one of them!
