Perfect for small tanks.

Pros: Perfect for small aquariums and quiet.

Cons: Lid is hard to get off if you have arthritis. Very tight fit.

So far I am pleased with this filter. I have a 3.5 gallon tank and I have had clean water. The filer runs quiet after it gets going but when you first plug it in a vortex forms in the return line and it is noisy. It can take up to a minute for the vortex to clear out of the line. to clear

Weak pump

Pros: Small

Cons: Weak pump

I bought this pump for a 10 gallon tank. The rating says up to 80 gph upon testing (because I was skeptical) I discovered it was only pumping about 30 gph. And that was with only the sponge filter installed. The rating is way off in my opinion. Very disappointed. I doubt this pump would be effective in even a 5 gallon setup

Just like the big boys!

Pros: Perfect for pico and nano tanks.

Cons: None.

I love this little canister. It's like a mini Eheim. It's perfect for my 6.5 gallon beta tank. I like to use canisters on all of my tanks as it provides good flow, easy maintenance and lots of surface area for good beneficial bacteria and this little guy does just that! It's even easier to put together. You can have it up and running easily in 5 minutes.

Good Filter

Easy to put together have not had it long but on a small tank clears up some room, had another filter on my 20 gallon tank, saw this and ordered this filter I have one for my 40 gallon and adore it keeps the tank clean it's has done a great job so far with no problems. I did not know there was a small canister filter for 20 gallon tank. I am liking it.
